ANOUAR BRISSEL

Anouar Brissel is a self taught artist who is passionate about all forms of art that arouse his imagination. Video artist and photographer, he also explores drawing and musical composition.

In 2006, with the gradus ad musicam, he created his first video for Dogora (Etienne Perruchon) at Salle Poirel in Nancy, Carmina Burana (2007). From 2008 to 2011, Anouar worked with Cie les Bestioles.

In 2016, he met James Bonas and Grégoire Pont at Lyon opera house and started his career as a video maker assistant. During their successful collaboration three artistic performances were created: L’heure espagnole (2018), Der Mond (2020) at the Opera of Lyon and Snow Queen (Rhin opera 2021).

His latest production is L’Elisir d’Amore in collaboration with the director Jean-Romain Vesperini (San Fransisco Napa Valley festival 2022).

Anouar Brissel has also collaborated with many directors such as Georges Lavaudant, Richard Brunel, Sam Brown, Claus Guth, Waut Koeken, Pierrick Sorin and Yoshi Oida …
